Private Residence in the Slovak Tatra Mountains
Located in the heart of the Tatra Mountains, this residence was designed to harmoniously blend modern architecture with the surrounding landscape. Large-format glazing opens the interiors to views of the forest and mountains, ensuring maximum natural light and a unique sense of space. The aluminum solutions used, featuring enhanced thermal insulation properties, guarantee high comfort of use throughout the year, even in the demanding conditions of the mountain climate.

Description:
LEDO was responsible for the comprehensive installation of aluminum joinery in this unique project. We used one of the most thermally efficient systems available on the market—Aliplast Genesis 90 I+, designed for energy-efficient and passive construction—which provides excellent thermal insulation and the highest level of comfort. The living area was equipped with large-format Aliplast Ultraglide HST sliding doors. A special feature of the project is the Glass Corner, constructed using glass-to-glass technology without a visible corner post, allowing residents to enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding forest and mountain landscape. Additionally, glazing was installed using the MC-Wall facade system. All glazing units are equipped with SILVERSTAR COMBI Neutral 50 selective glass, which effectively reduces interior heat gain while maintaining high daylight transmission. All the joinery is finished in RAL 7016 TC anthracite with a textured finish, perfectly complementing the residence’s modern architecture.
